Thank you and Farewell to Martin

13/12/2020

Martin Folan has recently resigned from the GIFCC, and therefore his position as Vice-Chair, due to personal family commitments.

We appreciate his 25 years of dedicated commitment and contribution to the GIFCC and on behalf of us all, an enormous THANK YOU!

Martin was recently presented with an award in recognition of his service on the Committee and his many years of support. The award includes a piece of sandstone cut from the block removed from the Hyde Park Barracks southern boundary wall by President Mary McAleese when she inaugurated the construction of the Famine Memorial in 1998.
