One of a group of prostitutes in Gov report 1850, return of Adelaide Prostitutes CO 13/70; probably the Anne Kelly (23) who married Samuel Woollan (21) on 3 Jun 1851 at St Stephen Parsonage, Adelaide; Jan & Mar 1854 notices in paper that she was distressed, not having heard from her husband since March 1853; he in Victoria 1861-85 running hotel on goldfields; Samuel Woollan died 1885 at Nerriga, Braidwood district 1885 following a fatal accident when he was thrown from a cart; Ann Elizabeth Woolan (sic) died 23 Oct 1891 at Norwood, South Australia, aged 60; had obviously waited for him to return and had no children.rn
