PRONI BG8/A2/2 p.148 [Barefoot & Pregnant?]; no sign or her in Adelaide but she seems to be the girl who married John Upton in Victoria in 1859; he was in Castlemaine at least 1854-57 and in Nov 1854 a Hannah Curren was leasing land at nearby Fryer’s Creek; 4 daughters 1861-66; in Nov 1867 Hannah Upton entered Yarra Bend Asylum 7 later to Sunbury where she died in Oct 1900; husband, John Upton, died in 1877.
