On list of 9 girls Newry Board of Guardian Minute Book BG/24/A/6, week ended 3 Jun 1848, p5; is probably the woman who gave evidence in a robbery case in Oct 1850 and was then living at the London Inn, Adelaide where she worked for Patrick Cosgrove. In Sep 1850 an unclaimed letter was advertised by the Adelaide Observer waiting for a Margaret Gray; seems have married Charles McDonald [MacDonald & MacDonnell], although the marriage has not been located. At least 4 children born at Cartapo near Hallett. She died 10 Jun 1904 and her husband died 30 Oct 1911-both buried at Hallett Cemetery under a marble headstone.rnrn
