- Gov report 1850, return of Adelaide Prostitutes SA CO 13/70 & newspapers of 16 May 1850 reported Ann Cameron [possibly the Roman Emperor girl] with Susan Griffiths sent to gaol for a month for ‘disorderly conduct’ in King William Street, Adelaide as ‘women of bad fame’; a unclaimed letter for Anne Cameron in 'Adelaide Observer', 5 Jun 1852 might also be for her; in Sep 1851, as Margaret Ann Cameron she married Albert Holtzangle at the Kooringa Church; unclaimed letter for Albert Holtznable in Victoria in 1855; 11 children, the first born in Adelaide in 1852 and the rest in Victoria; she is often referred to as Rodgers & as Margaret Ann Rodgers died in 1906 at Rutherglen, Victoria, aged 75 [her father was recorded as David Rodgers Cameron & mother Margaret Davey]; buried Chiltern from the Congregational Church which she had been a member of for over 50 years.rnrn
