Trevor McClaughlin supplied the names of a number of possible Roman Emperor orphans who came from Magherafelt (Co. Londonderry) workhouse: Fanny Dunlap was 'mendicant, no means of support, sickly' entered workhouse 6 Jan 1848, left 10 Jul 1848 [PRONI BG/23/G/1]. Nothing found for Dunlap, Dunlop etc in South Australia. Only possible death on 16 Dec 1857 at Gawler River, for a Mary Ann Dunlope aged 23 with no other details. This girl may not have even come as an orphan girl to Adelaide.
