M Fitzgerald, Dapto, £8, 1 year; married at Dapto RC 17 Jun 1850 to ex-convict Thomas Clifford (per Camden 1831) who was assigned to Henry Osborne at Illawarra; 10 children; died 31 Dec 1913, buried RC West Dapto. Elizabeth erected a headstone to honour her husband who died 25 Jun 1883 and her mother, mother Bridget Rourke died 7 Jun 1884. Thomas Clifford had sponsored Bridget's mother to the colony on the Dirigo in 1859 when she was aged 60. A son, Thomas, became a world sculling champion.
