Descendant notes that Isabella was born 1 Dec 1831; She married John Asbury at Summer Hill Station/Property (near present day Werris Creek) in 1851; 8 children; John Ashby worked on Goonoo Goonoo station (AA company) as a shepherd and Isabella also worked on the station as a hut keeper. She lived on the station at Dungowan for most of her life. Isabella died from 'senile decay' in 1905 at Nemingha (near Tamworth); buried at Tamworth General Cemetery.
