On list of passengers in 'South Australian Register', 9 Jun 1849; alleged Adelaide prostitute CO 13/70; married Benjamin Moran on 14 Aug 1870 at Port Adelaide (her father shown as Owen Martin); 4 children; Moran was employed by the South Australian Company as a driver; they lived in Rosewater; all was not well as reflected in the newspapers: he warned people that he was not responsible for his wife’s debts in 1884, told people not to buy property from her & was fined for indecent language in 1887 when she took him to court for threating to cut their daughter’s throat-the daughter withdrew the charge; in 1888 & 1889 he was charged with deserting his wife, assaulting their daughter & leaving them without adequate means of support; Benjamin died at their home in Elizabeth St, Rosewater on 26 Dec 1901; Isabella died 26 Sep 1905.
