- On list of passengers in 'South Australian Register', 9 Jun 1849; could be the Margaret Anderson baptised on 2 Mar 1835 at Thurles (father Michael Anderson, mother Catherine Gahan; unclaimed letters in Adelaide for Margaret Anderson in Nov 1850 & Oct 1854; donated 16/- toward statue to late Bishop Murray; had illegitimate child, Maria Elisa Adalbert Anderson born 1861 with Eugene Adalbert as father; seems to disappear from South Australia and could be Moll Anderson, aged 32, Irish who boarded the Penola in 1868 bound for Melbourne where she may have worked as a servant at the Imperial Hotel. Then she disappears.
