Ann Johnson, died 11 Dec 1888, at Payneham Road, Norwood, ‘beloved wife of Francis Johnson’. ‘Black Frank’ arrived to Sydney in 1833; 1884 he was a driver for Cobb & Co.; 1887 he returned to the West Indies - no evidence he returned to South Australia. Another Francis Johnson married Anne Wilson in 1851 in Antrim, Ireland & they arrived on the Nashwauk in May 1855. There is also a 37 year old Ann Tozer who arrived on the Lochee to Adelaide on 1 Feb 1887.
