On list of passengers in ‘South Australian Register’, 9 Jun 1849; aged 22 as Elizabeth Price, possibly married Thomas Laughton (24) at Church of Scotland Manse, Wakefield St., Adelaide on 21 Nov 1854; at least 3 children, born Adelaide 1855-63; Thomas died on 18 Aug 1888, aged 58 following an accidental fall from a 30ft ladder at Queen’s Own Town (also known as Finniss) near Victor Harbour where he had managed Mr W Roger’s station for many years; Elizabeth died on 21 Feb 1890 at Finniss.
