- On list of passengers in 'South Australian Register', 7 Jun 1849; possibly married Robert Purser [not located] - two daughters born to them in 1853 at Port Adelaide & 1855 at Nairne; another daughter died in Adelaide aged 6½ and a son died aged 10 weeks in Victoria in 1874; Robert Purser at butcher at Nairne in at least 1854-55; he was beaten in a brawl at Nairne showground in Sep 1855 [Adelaide Times, 26 Sep 1855] from which he never fully recovered, being left partially deaf and with impaired sight and his business suffered severely; family moved to Victoria; he declared bankrupt in 1867 and went downhill until admitted to Ballarat hospital in 1874, moved to mental institution in Oct 1878 and died in Dec 1978.
