- Details
- PRONI BG/23/G/1 Sarah Conway entered the Londonderry [Derry], Magherafelt workhouse as part of a family group 13 Nov 1847; she left 12 Jul 1848 with her widowed mother, Kitty aged 40, and sisters Kitty 13 & Hannah 11-thus Sarah was 17 or 18 on arrival; Sarah Ann Taylor born Woodville, Adelaide 15 Apr 1856 daughter to George Taylor & Sarah Ann Conway is a possible child; nothing else on a Sarah Conway or other name variations but she may be the girl who married William Nunn (29) as Sarah Coonan (22) at St Pauls, Port Adelaide in 1854; 6 children born Port Adelaide; William Nunn died 7 April 1869 at Adelaide; Sarah Nunn died 1893 at Port Adelaide. If Sarah married William Nunn she is probably not the girl who had a child with George Taylor in 1856. Nothing to prove she is the orphan girl but it seems likely she married William Nunn
