Eliza and her older sister Catherine Dooley on the Tippoo Saib; Eliza worked as nursemaid in Maitland; married Englishman, John Blanch in 1854 in Armidale; 13 children; within a decade they had acquired the 'Royal Oak Inn' on the Uralla gold diggings near Armidale, at one time terrorised by bushranger Thunderbolt whose inquest was held in their inn in 1870. Eliza lived in Uralla until 1891 when she moved into Armidale where she died in Jan 1912, buried Uralla.
