Empl. by Charles Savage, Stockton, Deep Creek, £9, 6 months; married John Hadley, Melbourne, 16 Dec 1850 with consent of her legal guardian W Lonsdale (see 'Barefoot & Pregnant?' vol 2, p.26 for names of Melbourne Orphan Cttee); 11 children; lived Bulla & Sunbury area until c.1863; by 1864 settled in Tinamba, Gippsland where she died 25 Sep 1888; buried Maffra (has headstone).
