A Margaret Vesty was in Adelaide Hospital in Mar 1885 noted as, aged 60 (thus born c.1835), living at Glanville, born Ireland, arrived per Inconstant; a John/Johathon Vesty was also in Adelaide Hospital in 1891, 1895 & 1898 and like Margaret was a Catholic living at Glanville (he was from Leicestershire). Margaret Bains married John Vesty at St Patricks, Adelaide in 1856 (her father was noted as Peter Byrnes) one daughter born 1861; Margaret was injured on the Semaphore Road, Glanville on 7 Mar 1885 when a cab knocked her down. Her husband was noted in the newspaper report as John Vesty and this date fits with her entry to hospital the next day. Margaret died 1900 at Glanville, buried to Woodville Catholic Cemetery; John Vesty died 1916.
