Register 3 No.115, 28 Jan 1851 JE Tucker (a member of the Orphan Committee & Principal Superintendent of Convicts) asked permission for her to marry ex-convict William Phillips; married at St Mary’s 1851; 4 ch by 1856 as they moved to Victoria; Bridget left William, taking 3 youngest children with her & left John with his father; she took up with (no evidence of marriage) Thomas Fry & they had 7 ch; Fry died 1870 when youngest child was only a few months old; 1873 Bridget married William Innes, a widower whose wife died in childbirth in 1870; Bridget died in Inglewood Hospital in 1909; buried in Kingower Cemetery.
