On list of passengers in 'South Australian Register', 9 Jun 1849; in Sep 1855 when living with her married sister Bridget Brennan (who also came on the Inconstant) in Gouger St, Adelaide, Mary Ann took Walsingham Weston Tuxford to court for breach of promise and was awarded damages of ₤200; married Thomas Doyle at St Patrick's Church, Adelaide on 7 Apr 1856; Doyle was a policeman active in Adelaide city in 1850s; in Mar 1858 she assaulted her brother-in-law's father & on 6 Apr 1858 Thomas advertised in the paper not to give her credit as she had left him without provocation; Mary Ann died 27 Jun 1870 in Adelaide, aged 37.
