On list of passengers in 'South Australian Register', 9 Jun 1849; married 1) Philip Brennan at RC Church Adelaide, 16 Sep 1852; lived Gouger St, Adelaide with her sister Mary Ann when in Sep 1855 Mary Ann took Walsingham Weston Tuxford to court for breach of promise and was awarded damages of ₤200; as Bridget Brennin, married 2) William Hele 30 Jul 1861, her father noted as James Evans [47/98]; William was assistant to J Sobels, a storekeeper on the Barossa Diggings in 1870 & noted as shopman in 1877 in partnership with Goodfellow; Bridget died 10 Apr 1870 at Marrabell, aged 35; William Hele, noted as a saddler, aged 53, died when he choked on a piece of meat on 10 July 1893 at Wadniminga gold field, near Manna Hill [noted as late of Burra]; memorial to their mother 20 years later in South Australian Register, 29 April 1890 from son J [John James] Brennan & daughter E [Emily] Hele.
