In South Dublin Workhouse as a 19-year-old Protestant capmaker [BG/79/G/3 no.1955], entered 7 Apr 1847, left 24 Apr 1848, returned 3 May 1848 [G79/G/4 No.3415] aged 20, of high St, Dublin, single, servant & discharged 2 Nov 1848 but this date is a typo and should be 2 Dec 1848 when a group of girls left South Dublin workhouse to board the Digby. Appendix J No.11, 29 June 1849 charge against Master of assault, case dismissed. Indentures cancelled. To Moreton Bay on board the Eagle in Aug 1849; married William Darling 1850 Brisbane; 8 children; died Aug 1892, leaving an estate valued at £3313. She is buried in Dutton Park, South Brisbane with her husband who died 1897.
