Gave birth to Mary Ann Taylor 26 Mar 1857 at 'Woolshed Goldfield', Beechworth Vic (already had one living child), father named as Frank Bolton, 35, carrier, born America; mother noted as Anne Taylor, age 23, born Parsonstown, unmarried; Bolton departed for NZ. 31 May 1862 ‘Argus’ reported Anne Taylor of Beechworth, charged with ill-treating her children when frequently drunk (father of children in NZ). She told the court she would take the pledge & was discharged with a caution; possibly to a Victorian Asylum about May 1862.
