- on list of 50 girls from Longford PLU minutes Dec 1848 as Anne Glennon, aged 18; shipping: house servant, reads only, no relatives in colony; Imm Corr 4/4635, 49/808, 5 Dec 1849 cancellation of indentures at Parramatta & returned to depot; ‘if a place cannot be found in the neighbourhood of Parramatta in the course of a few days she must be sent by the first opportunity to Bathurst or Goulburn; apparently didn't go as she married Michael McGuirk (McGurk] at St Mary's 1851; Michael sponsored John Glennon who arrived per Rodney 1854 from Killoe, Longford, whose sister Anne McGourke lived at Balmain. Ann McGuirk died Balmain 1883; no children located.
